With almost twenty years in Real Estate and a background in International Sales, Tony has provided outstanding solutions and service to all of his varied clients’ needs.
A 40th birthday trip to Florida, and his first experience of Disney’s Town of Celebration, would prove to be a major turning point in Tony Davids’ personal life and his career. Tony and his wife, June, had spent multiple summers vacationing in the Central Florida area with their four children from their home in London, UK.
However, on this birthday trip, it was a recommendation from a restaurant that led to their first ever experience of this magical town. It was December and the whole town was decorated for Christmas, the couple instantly fell in love with its uniqueness and charm.
The town was designed by Disney as a place to live and work and it provided a sense of community that Tony and June wanted for their family. They went home from that trip with a strong desire and drive to relocate their family. About a year later that dream became a reality when they moved into their first home in Celebration in January 2002.
Tony and June’s dream was also realized when they opened an English Tea Room and Boutique Wine Store right in the centre of Downtown Celebration. This also led to them being featured on an English TV series, ‘Escape To The Sun’, on BBC TV. The show was later repeated on SKY TV and brought a lot of attention to the family and to their Tea Room, Sherlock’s, which was themed on Sherlock Holmes.
They received many visitors from the UK excited to meet them and to hear about how they managed to relocate to the US from the UK. Tony told his story many times to multiple families that visited them and he quickly realized he had a lot of useful knowledge that would be helpful to people wanting to relocate.
In 2003 he trained to become a Real Estate Agent and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS). With further training, to become a Real Estate Broker, he subsequently opened his own Real Estate Company in 2005 based in Celebration. Tony’s extensive real estate education and his real-life experience, of relocating from another country, have allowed him a unique perspective to offer his customers. His direct and honest approach and impeccable service to his clients have earned him a large pool of long-standing relationships and repeat business both locally and internationally.
